Cultural festival!

Last week we had a nice festival, we had sports event on saturday, the OIC participants were divided in 6 teams, 6 colours, green, yellow, orange, blue, purple and the strong team, Red team, our team, but bad news, we got the 4th place, but it's okay, it's just a friendly game, together with Okinawan people. And on Sunday, we had cultural performances from OIC participant. Started with the fashion show, then dancing performances at the end. We really enjoy it, especially the Japanese people, coz the first time for them to watch different dances and costumes from all over the world. That's all for today.

Also my friend Ma san and his class left this morning, they were here for only five weeks I think. Good for them, they came here after us, and now they were leaving early, iidesu ne. See you guys in the next life! Bye bye bye.

Say Goodbye!!

Yesterday, some of my friends from the security class left, too bad they miss the festival on this coming weekend. But anyways, they were happy, they went back to their country and meet with their families and friends. Yussuf from Kenya left this afternoon, only him from his class left, (the environmental class) but all his classmates are leaving tommorrow. So tonight, we are having a farewell party for others leaving tommorrow, after rehearsal. Very lucky people, they will be leaving tommorrow. Sayonara everyone!! we'll keep in touch.

OIC vs Ryuku University!!

Last sunday here in the OIC field, our football team played against the team from the Ryuku university. Our boys were wearing their uniform, a yellow one from Front B, I think it is an old one. But before the game, Kap was injured, with his left hand, but he's okay now, abunai boy. Also Carlos was injured too, his left foot, but I think he's fine now, maybe. Hey, bad news, we lost,

5-4, no worries, it was a great game, our team should practice everyday, not just drinking orion, ha ha, just kidding, its just a friendly game. Maybe next time, I'll play, then we will win, ha ha!!!!!

observation tour!!

Ready for Tokyo. We left OIC on Sunday morning, no more typhoon, hooray!!. We arrive there at 11.30 I think. We stayed in Toko Hotel for three days, then the last two days in OSIC (Osaka International Center). When we arrive there, then we went to the Electronic Store, LAOX, the price was good, others bought their laptops, and I bought an ipod and a souvenior. On Monday, we went to NIME, National Insitute of Multimedia Education and the National Museum emerging science and innovation. Then tuesday, we went to NHK and the Open University of Japan, and then after tour, then we went to the Disneyland, I really enjoy the lights parade and everything. Wednesday, we went to the Kyoto International Culture Foundation and the last day, we went to the National Museum of Ethnology, Osaka. In Tokyo, very very busy, all the train were full coz of many many people, not only public officials but also the students. And in Tokyo is not that cold, but in Osaka, very very cold. OSIC has 9 floor in their building, they also have bigger rooms than OIC, but I think, OIC is better than OSIC. In the Dining Hall, no free soup, no free rice, no free salad. OIC is the best centre in Japan, yeah its true.

Ride, Ride, Ride!!

Observation tour in Okinawa. We went to the RBC/TAO, Media Station. In this place, we found the big camera there, placed on the top of the building, you can see all the buildings and cars and everything in the city. We didn't get the live broadcast of the news, but we watched the place and tv presenters. We also watched the one professional editor, I forgot his name, but he was very good, he slept there in his small room, to try and finished his work, and work overtime, because his work is very difficult, sakana sakana sakana!! thats all for today.

Presentation for production exercise 2

Well, on Monday 22nd of October, presentation for production exercise 2. All the intstructors and the chinese class were here in our classroom to watch our production, all the three groups were good, okay, very very okay. And it was finished at 5.30.pm in the evening, and we were very tired, coz of the last group production, too long and bored, ha ha, just kidding, all the production are great, that means, all MTEC participants are professionals, except me. So we'll still waiting for the result of the second production. Hope our group will get a good result, maybe.

Farewell party!!

Last friday night, we had a party, for the pacific islanders who are leaving for their country. It was good, great, I really enjoy it. Also that night, the same night, that my class were having a dinner, but we weren't there, me, Stanely, Kap, coz we are the committee for the party, okay committee!!! Also Eric didn't go, coz his friend Yon was having a birthday, so they went out to celebrate his birthday. Amilcar san didn't go, and Gilbert too, coz he's very very lazy, and he is getting fat now, coz he ate too much mega burger, and tamago. And I'm really sorry Uramoto san, for not coming to our dinner, I really want to go, but we were having a party, so maybe next time, I really want to go to a nightclub. Okay ja mata!!

Shooting in the Aquarium!!

Last friday, we went to the Aquarium for shooting, a long ride, coz its far away from the OIC. In the bus, my friend Ma san from China, was sitting beside me. He don't know how to speak in English, but I taught him some simple words. He said he had a daughter, she is only 8 years old, and he is a doctor, a preventor for HIV Aids. When we arrive there, we were very hungry, you have to buy your own lunch.

After shooting, then we went down to the beach, and Uramoto san and Kumiko san were already there, and the Chinese guys, already swimming in the sea. Many people go there for swimming or to relax, especially the girls. Gilbert and Kap were talking with the japanese girls, and also they took pictures together with them, the girls were from Tokyo. They like to chat with the MTEC boys, kap, ha san, and especially Gilbert, coz he is very cute and handsome, ha ha, the one and only from Kenya. And Ha san, he told the girls that he is single, he is not married, lier lier. Okay thats all for today, see you next time.

Video production exercise 2!!

Start video production 2. Our class divided into four groups, three people in each group. So my group are Stanley san, and David san, they are very professionals. Stanley is our best designer, and David is our video producer, director, camera man, everything, and me, I was just good in carrying the tripod. On the first day of our shooting, we went to Naha City, and you what, stanley and david were carrying their cameras, but I was on the other side, carrying the tripod, so after shooting on that day, they were laughing at me, and told me that where I was going, coz they want to use the tripod, and I was carry it all along with the other group, funny. I am the assistant director of our group, if they need a new tape, or a new battery, they just ask me, I can go and get everything they want. I don't care, I'm still learning from them. But it's a good job. Go Stanley! Go David!

Flash animation!!

Went to the university of Okinawa, for a special lecture about flash animation, so it was very interesting. We make animation movie, we divided into four groups, together with the students, they were really good, not only make animation, but drawing of pictures too, very professionals. But for the mean time, I'm sure I can do better than them ha ha!!

Girls just want to have fun!!!

Okay, time for girls only. Our coordinator Kumiko san, Nana san and Fumiyo san, plan a day for just five of us, girls to go out to some restaurants to have lunch, one for a month. So, last month, we went to KELEKEB RESTAURANT, Kelekeb is a butterly in Italian, so inside the restaurant, there are symbols of butterfly everywhere, on the wall, on the table etc, and also they have soft cream, not ice cream,. So, this month, we went to VIVACE CAFE, not too far from the OIC. It was great, nice food, especially dessert, I was the one who finished mine first. Okay thats all for today.

Preschool kids!!

More visitors, those are the kids from a Preschool here in Okinawa, I don't know the name of the school, but when they came inside our room, they run all around the room, especially the fat one, thats Soe Moe little brother, ha ha.

Ja mata Japanese class!!

Last tuesday, was our last day for our japanese class, we were having our last presentation, it was really fun, very interested. The security class were there as audience to watch our presentations. Me and my abunai partner were doing an inside elevator conversation, it was fun, maybe next class, I will change my partner, coz he is very very abunai, ha ha just kidding. We really miss our teacher, Shiruma sensei, she's very helpful. So, no more japanese class. ja mata

Football time!!!

We were playing soccer with the new class last Monday, holiday, and we won, MTEC won, 9-6. Our goal keeper was the giant from Myanmar, Soe Moe san. And the shooters were David san, Kap san and Ha san, Stanley san, and the best defender was Mr Green from Kenya, ha ha and Eric san. Gonzalo was the water boy, and I was the cheerleader. And Jay, she is no longer a MTEC member, shes out. And George, he was still in the lab with his blind friend Sa san, and Amilcar san where were you? Going out with some girls? just joking. Tommorrow is another game, GO MTEC! GO MTEC!

Class activities

Last friday, went skating, we really enjoy it, especially Kap, he's the one who got the first place or got more points in falling down on the ice, but he was keep trying, second place is our coordinator, Kumiko san, but she was good, better than Gilbert san, Jay san and Soe moe san, they only skate for only 8 seconds. After skating, then we went to the McDonald to hambaka o tabemasu, to cola o nomimasu, uuuuummmmmmmm oishii desu. Watashi wa heya e kaerimasu. ja mata.

Enjoy Okinawa!

Well, last saturday, we went to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is far from the OIC. All of our class went there, except Soe Moe, he is very lazy, and Gilbert san, he went with his spanish girl to the other tour bus, where there is free meal, and free drink, especially beer, ha ha. Ha san friend, Jung also from Vietnam, we lost them after our tour, but he said that he came back, because his friend Ha san didn't even care about him, he was taking only pictures of the Miss OIC, who? just kidding. Today we are starting another new topic, which is Internet Basics, very interesting. Okay, catch you later, bye for now.
